How do we do this?
-
Tackling poverty from its grassroots rather than for its consequences to assure independent and lasting change.
-
Building capacity through infant and adult education and skills training oriented to jobs in demand at the local market.
-
Promoting self-confidence and empowerment that lead the marginalized to active participation in their community issues.
-
Encouraging dialogue between the community stakeholders including beneficiaries, donors, authorities, other organizations and mass media.
-
Raising awareness, promoting informed opinions and debates, and engaging the non-poor to become an active part of the solution and to collaborate in doing so.
-
Protecting in a cross-cutting manner the respect for the individual without regard to gender, ethnicity, caste, age or religion.
-
Inspiring a shift in attitudes and beliefs towards a community free from violence and discrimination.
-
Researching, planning, monitoring, analyzing and correcting our programs to deliver the best results we can.
